2026 Summer Vegetable Share $625

What’s in a share?

Cost: $625

Pickups every Thursday 2-6pm

Pick-your-own fields open 6 days a week

Join us for 20 weeks of joyful abundance! Starting the first week of June, and ending late October, each pick-up will consist of an assortment of fresh and seasonal vegetables. Grown with regenerative and low-till farming methods, your veggies will not only be nutrient dense, but good for the earth as well!

One share can feed 1-3 people depending on how many vegetables you consume per week. It will consist of 6-12 items at each pick-up depending on the month, and we will also have our staple “Pick-Your-Own” section where members can go out in the fields and harvest cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, berries, flowers and so much more.

A typical June Pick-up will look like: 1 head of lettuce, 1 bunch of kale, 2 salad cucumbers, 1 bunch of scallions, 1 bunch of beets, 1 bunch radishes, 1 pint of pick-your-own sugar snap peas, 1 bunch of pick-your-own herbs.

A typical August pick-up will look like: 4 tomatoes, 3 zucchini, 1 head of lettuce, 1 bunch of swiss chard, 2 salad cucumbers, 1 pound of carrots, 4 eggplants, 1 bunch of scallions, 1 pint pick-your-own cherry tomatoes, 1 pint pick-your-own lunchbox sweet peppers OR jalapeno peppers, pick-your-own flower bouquet.

Typical Questions:

Are all your veggies grown on the farm?

Although most of your share will come straight from the farm, occasionally we will buy in extra from organic certified farms in the local area. This way even in lean weeks, there will be an abundance of produce!

Can I split my share with another person?

Yes! We want to make sure that folks who don’t need a ton of vegetables but still want to participate can split their share with another person. You can do this by alternating weeks you pick-up with your share buddy, or split it between yourselves at pick-up. Please understand that occasionally there will be items that cannot be split like one watermelon, or one butternut squash.

It is your responsibility to make sure you and your share partner are not doubling up. Please put your share partners name on the sign up sheet below.

The upfront cost of $625 is too high for me, what can I do?

If you are finding the upfront cost of the CSA challenging, then you are welcome to split the payment into two with the first installment of $300 due before March 1st and the second of $325 due before June 1st. Please only use this option if you are facing financial hardships, as it is extra administrative work on the farm’s end to do this.

If you are a SNAP user, the farm is working on participating in the SNAP/CSA agreement program. Please email littlelightfarming@gmail.com for more information.

Do you accept work for shares?

Yes! Please indicate below if you would like to participate in our work-share program. This is a trade of 4 hours a week, Thursday 8-12 for a free CSA share. Indicating below that you are interested does not guarantee a spot. You will be contacted by Emmy for a short interview before decisions are made. Work shares will have to be able to lift, bend, and work outside in hot conditions for the entirety of the 4 hour shift. Please check in with yourself and make sure you’re up for the task.

What can I do if I can’t pickup my share one week?

2026 Pick-Your-Own Flower Share $165+tax=$175.72

Step into a sea of zinnias, snapdragons, and multicolored blooms in our 10-12 week flower CSA. Our fields will open mid-July and close in early-October, or whenever the first frost hits. Each week we will let you know how many blooms you can pick, and what’s abundant in the field. Miss a week? Pick two bouquets next time you come to the farm. Experience the joys of harvesting and arranging your own bouquets. Walk through the fields of flowers and sing with the bees. It’s going to be a colorful summer!

2026 CSA Agreement

Shared risk: The CSA model is built upon a foundational principle: sharing both risk and reward. By becoming a member of our farm, you become an integral part of our agricultural community. Collectively, we commit to sharing the joys and challenges of farming. During abundant years, you can anticipate receiving a bounty of exceptional, generously-sized products. Conversely, in more demanding seasons marked by pests, diseases, or adverse weather, you may receive fewer items or products of slightly reduced quality. This collaborative approach embodies the heart of community-supported agriculture, where we all partake in the uncertainties and victories of farming as one. I understand that my purchase indicates agreement with some shared risk. If, due to weather, insects, or other events beyond the farm’s control, there may be weeks with less items to pick.

Emails: I understand that important communications from Little Light Farm will be delivered via email and that opening these emails is my responsibility. I will insure that emails from Little Light Farm are not lost inside a spam folder.

Pickup: It is my responsibility to pick up my share Thursdays 2-6pm. If you cannot make the pick-up time please e-mail littlelightfarming@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee we can hold your share, but will try to get it to you. Any missed shares will be donated to local food pantries.
I understand that there are inherent risks associated with spending time in proximity to an active farming operation. As a CSA member, I willingly assume these risks and agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Little Light Farm and Amethyst Farm, LLC, its owners, agents and employees from any and all claims, damage and/or liability he or she might suffer from being on the Farm property, from the purchase of a CSA membership, including but not limited to, the use or consumption of any food provided by the Farm.
